8. Reduce Cholesterol
Legumes like beans, peas and lentils are also good sources of plant protein and contain less fat and no cholesterol, making them good substitutes for meat which helps to reduce the cholesterol intake and increase the fibre intake.
9. Starchy vegetables

11. Poultry and red meat
Animal products are high in saturated fat. Replacing them with unsaturated fats is advisable for the heart. While choosing meat or chicken, it is healthy to buy lean cuts or with fat removed.
12. Milk and dairy products
Milk and dairy products are one of the main components of our food. It is better to take skimmed milk and less fat dairy products.
